I should probably learn to be a little more active on deviantart again! I made the move from here to tumblr, because it felt more casual, and easier to interact with other artists. Having said that, there's a whole swag of peoples I should be bugging more on here, especially now I'm on board and helping the

I've found I mentally reserve Deviantart for what I consider the best I am capable of, a portfolio if you will. I've left my older pieces up just so I can remind myself, and perhaps others, how far my art has come in two short years. PERSISTENCE. It pays off.

The bulk of my scribbles can be found on askspades.tumblr.com, which, incidentally, is where you can find a small blue horse too. He's not so good at answering questions because he gets distracted too easily, but I do dearly love drawing Spades playing with / bothering / being picked on by other OCs, and its such a vast pool of pony.

The rest of my doodles usually drop onto hazzmuro.tumblr.com, but we don't talk about that.

Regardless, I can be found skulking around on the atg's IRC chat room, or on Skype. Hazzdawgydawg is I. Feel free to add me. I like being pestered, almost as much as I like pestering*.

So today I turned 30.

I don't know how to assign my new skill points. I think they get assigned automatically into passive skills.
I seem to have accidentally gotten better at arts.

So in order to help, I've decided to finally open commission slots to see if I can't raise money for the cause.

I'm opening five slots, and charging less because it is generally agreeable that Hazzarts aren't very good.

I'd best start updating these things again if I'm going to be arting, no?

Seems I've found myself a method of arting that only takes me 30-60 minutes to make a piece (incidentally, about the same time it took me to draw and shade a pencil sketch) that I'm actually happy about uploading to deviantart and Tumblr. Did I mention how happy I am with SAI and my tablet?

I'm really, really happy with SAI and my tablet.

If I keep this up I might even start setting myself targets again. Like pulling head!Spades back out of hiatus.
Wait, no... that's definitely a dream.

But resolution number one: Art. Whenever I'm in the mood, even if its a dumb scribble that sits in my stash and doesn't get seen by more than the two people unlucky enough to have it thrust in their face... I'm going to draw.

Resolution number two: Respond. Poke my head out of this antisocial hole I seem to have dug into and start replying to the people that take the time to look at my stuff and poke me. I've been very rude. Spades is giving me hell for it.

Resolution number three: Actually stick with my resolutions this time.
